University of Surrey Appoint H&V
H&V have been appointed by the University of Surrey to complete a large project at their Stag Hill Campus in Guildford.
Situated next to the Guildford Cathedral, the University Stag Hill Campus is home to the Department of Music and Media which offers courses such as Creative Music Technology, Sound Recording and Digital Media Arts. This project will provide a coherent second home for the department to facilitate future expansion of student numbers and the development of one of Surreys most prestigious, world leading subject areas.
Our works will provide the Department of Music and Media with a significant range of specialist rooms, including a new TV studio, sound stage, TV gallery, sound editing rooms and rehearsal studios. Due to the specialist nature of the project, H&V are collaborating with ‘Miloco Builds’ who have extensive experience and technical knowledge of designing and building recording studios.
Mobilisation began last week, and our experienced team have been responsible for the initial strip out and asbestos removal.
We very much look forward to sharing progress updates throughout the coming weeks.
