Kingston University employed our services to supply and install a pre-fitted container coffee shop to an internal courtyard at their Penrhyn Road Campus.

Aside from the installation of the container, we assisted in the overall design of the pop-up coffee shop which had to be crane lifted in order to place the container within the courtyard.

Pad foundations had to be installed in locations to both receive the container, and at the same time avoid underground services that transpired to be in the vicinity.

The works consisted of:

• Construction of pad foundations alongside underground services
• Running various services to the container, including 3 phase power, data cabling, fire alarm and water supplies
• Design, manufacture and install by way of crane lift pre-fitted container
• Installation of galvanised steel framework and balustrading including infill panels
• Installation of composite decking
