We were employed by RREEF UK to modernise and refurbish a series of industrial units at Dukes Road, Acton. The site consisted of a number of units that required a complete renovation of the elevations.

We re-clad the external fabric and introduced new aluminium windows/doors and curtain walling, together with new sectional industrial doors. Depending on the state of repair, roofs were either overclad or refurbished.

We subdivided Unit 1 into two individual units that were leased by Screwfix and Topps Tiles by constructing a 55.00m x 9.00m high dividing blockwork infill wall to new steelwork columns. In addition, internally a new epoxy floor was applied, and a new office / WC pod was constructed.

Except for Units 1 and 4, all other units were occupied by the likes of Island Film Studios, NBC News and Joubere, a food processing factory.

Regular liaison was carried out with the occupiers to maintain business continuity and to minimise disruption, particularly when filming was carried out in the film studio.
