As a result of fire damage to their property, 3DD Architectural Model Makers employed our services to assist in a very swift relocation to new premises to maintain business continuity. Between 3DD, the insurance loss adjuster and ourselves, we negotiated the design and construction of a model workshop together with providing full MEP services in a vacant industrial unit on the same site of their premises.

Aside from carrying out our own fit-out works, we were employed as Project Managers to oversee other artists and tradesmen including extract systems, compressed air systems and business-critical machinery.

The works consisted of:

• Full design and installation of electrical services including load testing, new sub mains and distribution boards, perimeter small power and data installation, power supplies to equipment and fire alarm alterations
• Installation of new high lever Reznor gas heater and de-stratification fans together with gas supply and controls
• The workshop consisted of new blockwork walls, triple-glazed viewing windows, acoustically rated door sets and suspended ceilings hung from the existing warehouse roo
