We were employed by the London Fire Brigade to reconfigure and fit out a new commercial kitchen/ dining area in an operational fire station in Poplar. Part of the works included heavy side structural alterations to provide an open plan kitchen/dining area.

A temporary kitchen complete with all services and appliances was installed in the appliance yard whilst works were carried out.

The works consisted of:

• Installation of temporary kitchen and services
• Complete strip-out and structural alterations
• New automated roof lights
• New vinyl floor finishes and tile wall finishes
• Window replacement to the dining area
• Complete renewal of all appliances, furniture, storage units and the like
• Renewal of localised services including gas supplies, radiator renewals, hot and cold water, fire alarm, appliance controls and associated electrical installation
